The RoboCats headed to Kettering University for their first aerial drone competition of 2025 on Saturday, January 25th.  They were one of twenty-four teams at the event.  After eighty-four qualifying rounds they finished in fifteenth place, which was high enough to place in the playoff round.  There, they were outscored in the first round of the playoffs and that was the end of the road.  The team also competed on the autonomous flight course and skills training course.  The students took advantage of opportunities to collaborate with other teams from across the state and Ohio.  The Robocats will be back in action for their second competition at Kettering University in two weeks.
